Dashboard
Read your traffic, sources, and audience at a glance.
The tracker Overview is the default screen for a tracker and answers the day-to-day questions: how much traffic, from where, on what, and is it up or down. Open it from Trackers and select your tracker.
Toolbar
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Status | Shows and changes the tracker status — pause collection without touching your site's code. |
| Tracker ID | Click to copy. This is the value your script tag's data-ft must match. |
| Date range | Sets the reporting window for every card below. Defaults to today. |
| Refresh | Refetches all reports, bypassing the cache. Rate-limited to once every 1.5 seconds. |
| Connect | Opens the install dialog with your snippet and the site checker. See Installation. |
Header cards
Five figures summarising the selected range: Visits, Unique, Returning, Events, and Active (last 30 min). The first four carry a comparison badge when today is selected, comparing today against yesterday. Their exact definitions are in Metrics.
Active (last 30 min) ignores the date range — it is always a live count of sessions that pinged in the last half hour, with a pulsing indicator when anyone is on your site right now. It is the fastest way to confirm a fresh install is working.
Visitors chart
Sessions over time, as a line or bars. The bucket size is derived from the range: hourly for a single day, daily for a month, and so on up to yearly for multi-year ranges.
UTM Parameters
The most common values across all six attribution
tags, ranked by visitors, up to
25 rows. If this card is empty while you are running campaigns, your campaign
URLs are missing their utm_* parameters — the tag only records the six it
recognises.
Visitors' devices
Browser, operating system, and device type, on three tabs. All three are parsed from the user agent, so they reflect what the browser reports.
Visitors by country
A ranked list and a world map, derived from edge geolocation at request time.
VPNs and corporate proxies place visitors in the country of their exit node. Treat country data as a strong signal, not a precise one.
Top Paths and Top Referrers
The most-visited paths and the most common referrers for the range. Referrers
appear as <direct> when there is none. For anything deeper than a ranked list
— per-page bounce rate, scroll depth, or navigation structure — use Page
Discovery.
When a card is empty
An empty card means no data in the selected range, not an error. Check, in order:
- The tracker status is
active, notpaused. - The date range covers a period when you had traffic.
- The tag is installed and reporting — the Active card is the quickest test, or see verifying the tag.
- You have not hit a plan limit — a banner appears at the top of this screen when collection has stopped.
